El Ático
"Ashes" is an independent 3D animation short film using mixed media techniques, developed by "El Ático", a collective of young artists primarily from Argentina, but with members in Uruguay, Spain, and Colombia, led by Nacho Rodríguez (Nachissimo), a recognized conceptual artist. This team combines professionals with experience in the industry and emerging talents at the beginning of their careers. Beyond animation, what unites the group is the desire to transcend the boundaries of conventional work in studios and companies to create a genuine and artistic audiovisual piece.
The goal of this collective and self-managed project is to mark the beginning of a new way to create and develop animated projects under the El Ático label. The aim is to build a creative space where:
-
Collective feedback drives development.
-
Original ideas and projects are executed without restrictions.
-
Decisions are made democratically.
-
Task division fosters each member’s desire and artistic experimentation.
All while maintaining an absolute commitment to professionalism and artistic and aesthetic quality. In this community, more experienced members of the industry share their knowledge, motivate, and support those starting their professional journey, creating a space for constant learning and collaboration.
